When creating the sound edit for the flashback (going up the stairs), I
When creating the sound edit for the happy flash back of rowan (when entering the vision within his eye), I spent a large amount of time finding the best piece of music to fit the footage. Stranger on a shore by Aker Bilk was the best choice of music as it allowed to firstly give an easy establishment of happy times, which could easily become strange and distorted. It is also fantastically fitting as the clarinets ascending moves at the same time the camera into the eye, which helps to create the effect. Following this I edited this sound by adding a pitch adjuster which I key framed to slope down by a 6 semi-tones. This resulted in a slope and slow down of the music creating a creepy, distorted feel. Below I have attached a print screen of me editing the sound of the flash back.
