I have bought a 5 in 1 pop up reflector/filter. This will allow me to manipulate light to the places where I would like light to be. I believe this to be extremely beneficial for my short film, as most of the filming is taken place out side, which can often be difficult to capture the correct light. Thus making this product very useful. Furthermore, If the sun was to be too strong, I would be able to de-saturate the item and/or increase the shadowing. Below I have posted a picture of my new purchase.
As you can see the fold ability of the product is very useful and can be carried around the set without much issue. In order to know how to use the filters/reflectors I watched the photography video below. This showed very clearly how much of a difference the use of a reflector or filter can do.
