The gun prop

As I want to achieve a realistic hand gun for my short film, I need to ensure that its has a number of components. Firstly It needs to be the correct satin black metallic colour. Secondly, In order to achieve the slow motion shot, the gun needs to have a realistic blow back.

After doing some research into the market of BB guns and air soft guns, I managed to establish the costs. In order to get an actual metal, waited, air soft gun, which has a blow back feature, I would need to spend a minimum of £100. This is significantly over the budget of which I would be willing to spend. After having a look around I managed to find a electric plastic gun for £30 (which you can find at this address: www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/545/BB-GUNS-BLACK/451/BB-PISTOLS-BLACK/2303/UM654-BLOWBACK ). This gun had the blow back feature incorporated into the design and is the perfect black colour. Therefore allowing me to achieve the perfect slow motion shot without spending a very large amount of money.
