Progress Reel

Today, I learnt about progress reals. Essetialy, I had found pixar video clips which esentially explained what they are on Youtube. This I found really interesting as it gives an indepth understanding of how a full length feature, sutch as; for example, Frozen, come togeather in the creative process. Below I have attached a video of on of the progress real's which I have watched.

As you can see when watching the clip, it begins with showing the final product, than showing you what a pensil drawn out version is (with the music pre recorded), followed by a blocked out version in a 3d animation software and then finally a version with the shading, colouring, lighting and overall rendering to create the final version. I have found that progress reels can range in detail of stages.
