bourne identity colour correction

Within my flash back of the gun being given to rowan, I carried out some research into flash back color correction. I did this by looking at flash back's from other popular films. Bourne Identity really jumped out at me, as one can see below. The use of the blurry blues and greens really emphases the confusion of the scene. Following this I tried to find-out how to create this effect within after effects. I did this by looking through some after effects tutorials on YouTube. The one below was the most effective one I could find to try and incorporate the color correction idea.

I adapted the color correction through the brightness. I added some definition etc. to the overall footage through the use of the sharpening. Within the actual flash back, I added a warp stabilizer to the footage to help with the floating feel. In addition to this I added a camera lens flair, which I animated to where to sun is in the window. These additions to the color correction really help to add to the overall effect.
