Creating the scrolling closing credits

When creating the scrolling title credits I looked up the basic understanding of how to make the edit on YouTube. This consisted of creating a composition which 1080 at the top and 9000 at the bottom. This therefore created a very long composition space. within this I create a large dialogue box, which I essentially copy and paste the already written out text which I want to add. I did this in Microsoft word initially to get the main text over. After this I added my production logo to the bottom and the added movie rights etc. After I created this I pre-composed the composition, thus making it another piece of footage. I then created another composition within this project which I sized back to 1080 by 620p. I the added the previous long composition into the video clips edit bar. following this I moved the top of the long composition to the front top of the new composition and key-framed the position of it. I then dragged the curser 10 seconds forward and moved the long composition so the bottom is at in the composition area. Once achieving this it allowed me to have the moving text effect. This with the addition of going back and choosing the appropriate font for the titles, resulted in a finished product. below I have added a screen shot of me working on this footage in after effects.
