preparation for film shoot day no.1

Since I have established my filming dates with my cast, camera and lighting crew, I have been preparing for the two day's. The first day Wednesday 11/12/14 consisted of the first part of my chroma key hyperlapse idea. This consisted of carrying out an accurate hyperlapse in a blue screen controlled environment. I organised my make up artist and actor to spend two hours working with, in order to achieve the blue screen hyperlapse. This went rather successfully, as one can see from the video below, which is what we filmed on Wednesday.

In hyperlapse, I found the ever growing blood and make up really helped to create the overall feel of the video. Furthermore, by having an art student for make up it really helped me to become hands free.

Problems
Well, there where some problems to begin with, I needed more lights as I only had one spotlight. I solved this early on the day (Wednesday) by asking my schools since department if I could borrow 8 lamps. the second problem was that we didn't have very much time. As partially anticipated the make up took over an hour to be ready for filming. This left 50 minuets to film the entire blue screen hyperlapse.
